Air Handling Unit (AHU)

The Air handing unit is an integrated piece of equipment consisting of Fan, Cooling Coil, Filters and Mixing Box.

The purpose of this equipment is to collect and mix outdoor air with return air from the building space. The air mixture is than cooled and dehumidified, after which it is discharged into the building space through a duct system.

The reasons to use the AHU are:

• Handle a huge amount of mixing air compare to normal split unit
• Reduce the space required for equipment compare to split unit
• Reduce the cost of operation
• Equipment in machine room allows the maintenance without disturbing the end users
